Coffee or Die presents an interview with Master Chief Petty Officer (Ret.) Steve “Gonzo” Gonzalez, who describes what it was like to be a SEAL on 9/11 and how SEALs are different from every other special operations unit.

The video also shows scenes from the east coast SEAL reunion and the 50th Anniversary of the UDT/SEAL Association, where active duty SEALs, SWCC, and SOF aviation put on a show of force demonstration for Naval Special Warfare veterans and their families.

According to the Navy, Sea, Air and Land Forces (SEALs) are expertly trained operatives that deliver “highly specialized, intensely challenging warfare capabilities that are beyond the means of standard military forces.”

The SEALs’ mission types include (but are not limited to): direct action warfare; special reconnaissance; counterterrorism; and foreign internal defense. These guys can do it all and do it well.
