Retired US Navy pilot, Commander David Fravor, who was present for the very first UFO encounter to be publicly acknowledged, sits down with Joe Rogan and gives an awesome first-hand recount of the event, to include never before heard information.
In 2004, Navy F-18 and F/A-18 Super Hornets were called in to investigate a UFO encounter by the USS Princeton (CG-59), Ticonderoga-class guided missile cruiser off the Baja Peninsula, southwest of San Diego, CA.
To this day, the event has yet to be explained, and since then, dozens more encounters between Naval aircraft and unexplained aerial phenomena have occurred. Fravor, who wasn’t just a pilot, but the squadron commander at the time, discusses his incident as well as more recent events that have happened to his close colleagues in different parts of the world.
The podcast is long, almost two hours, but is incredibly interesting, especially if you’re interested in combat aviation as told by a master fighter pilot. During the interview, Fravor explains that the object was actively jamming their radar and even unveils new information never before released to the public.
While he gives commentary as the footage plays, he explains what the voice recordings of the pilots are saying, and according to Fravor, a group of the unidentified flying objects were, at one point, flying in a V-shaped formation ahead of a larger object. That is information not heard prior to this podcast. Give the video a watch.
